In order for it to operate properly mechanically and with optimal energy efficiency, the pumping station and the entire pumping system must be properly designed. As a pump manufacturer, we have the best knowledge on how to properly install them.

We offer this knowledge in the form of designs for new pumping stations and modernization designs for existing pumping systems. The construction of a pumping station based on our designs guarantees optimal operating conditions of the pumps and allows you to avoid errors that often occur as a result of incomplete understanding of pumping technology issues by designers from other industries. Design services provided by the Powen-Wafapomp SA Group cover the full scope, including, in addition to designs mechanical, as well as projects in the construction, electrical and control and measurement industries.

In addition to the pump itself, other components, such as pipelines and fittings, also influence the proper operation of the pump system.
The effectiveness of the pump in the system is not determined by the maximum efficiency of the pump, but by its efficiency at the operating point, the location of which is determined by the quality of the pump selection for the system. Practice shows that existing pump systems are in many cases not optimally configured. This often results in excessive flow resistance or incorrect selection of the pump for the system, resulting in excessive energy consumption for pumping. This situation may result, among others, from: from design errors made in the past, the lack of appropriate devices when the system was built or from changes that have occurred in the required parameters since the design was developed. By making relatively simple modifications that do not require high expenditure, significant energy savings can be achieved in many cases.

In addition to standard training in the operation of the pump units we provide, which are part of the standard delivery, we also provide training in pump technology not directly related to our products.
