Layout

The centrifugal double-stream pump B has a body divided in a horizontal plane passing through the axis of the rotating unit. The suction and discharge ports are horizontal and located in the lower part of the body. Thanks to the use of a double-stream impeller, there is no axial force. The use of a double spiral in the pressure chamber minimizes the occurrence of radial force. The shaft is mounted in rolling bearings lubricated with oil or grease.
Shaft sealing in stuffing boxes can be made by using sealing cords or by means of front mechanical seals. B-P10 pumps are identical in terms of construction to standard B pumps, but they are characterized by a strong and compact structure adapted to the most severe operating conditions in petrochemical processes.
Special versions:
BV pumps are a variant of B pumps, made in a vertical version. They are based on the same hydraulics. The pump body as well as the bearing housings are divided in a vertical plane passing through the shaft axis. The resulting axial force is transmitted by thrust bearings lubricated with grease. Shaft sealing in stuffing boxes is achieved using front mechanical seals.
