Layout

Vertical, with diagonal (VS1) or axial (VS3) flow, with a suction funnel immersed in the pumped liquid, or with a stub connected with an expansion joint to the inlet channel.
The pumped liquid flows through the hydraulic unit and then through a vertical pipe column to the pump outlet elbow along a shaft guided in radial plain bearings (shells) lubricated with the pumped liquid. The thrust forces are transmitted by an oil-lubricated, spherical or Michell type thrust bearing.

Product features
- They are certified by the National Institute of Hygiene: Possibility of pumping drinking water
- Very long pump life: Even several dozen years
- Hydraulics optimization: To maximize pump efficiency
- Shafts protected with protective sleeves: In the area of the stuffing box and plain bearings - optimal and long-lasting operation of bearings and mechanical seals
- Stuffing boxes: Compatible with seal cooperation according to API682, latest edition

- API 610 / ISO 13709: Full compliance with the latest edition of standards
- Possibility of adapting the pump to an existing pumping station: Pump length from about 1,5 meters to several meters
- Possibility of freely immersing the inlet hopper in the pumped medium: They do not require supplying the pumped liquid via a suction pipeline
- Possibility of starting the pump without first wetting the bearings: Dry start

Application examples
Wherever high performance at a relatively low lifting height is required:
- Main cooling water pumps in power plants and combined heat and power plants
- Drainage pumping stations
- Water intakes and waterworks
- Refineries.
