We support the education of young people
We are aware of how important it is to combine theoretical knowledge with practice, especially in the case of young people just entering the labor market.
Therefore, GPW SA very actively supports young people - both people acquiring vocational education (mainly cutting machine operators), as well as we enable students of the Silesian University of Technology to gain practical knowledge during annual program student internships.
Universities
Pursuant to the agreement concluded with the Silesian University of Technology on the organization of student internships, we give the best students a chance to practice - and then work with us.
We enable students of the Silesian University of Technology to gain practical knowledge during annual student internships. We constantly cooperate with the Career Office of the Silesian University of Technology, informing about current offers and job opportunities for both students and graduates of the University.
Vocational schools
Pursuant to the agreement concluded with the Zabrze City Hall and in cooperation with the Zabrze Center for Practical and Continuing Education, we organize annual internships in the profession of cutting machine operator.
Students of vocational schools can gain valuable experience under the supervision of our qualified staff in the profession of cutting machine operator.
As part of practical classes, we provide monthly and semester scholarship awards to students with the best academic results.
Project ``Veni, Vidi, Vici``
As part of the "Veni, Vidi, Vici" project organized in cooperation with the Career Office of the Silesian University of Technology, we hosted students of the University of Technology at our Plant in Zabrze. Students had the opportunity to learn about the extraordinary history of our company and look at individual stages of the production process. Visitors visited, among others, the Design Office, the Modeling Department, the Foundry Department, the Mechanical Processing and Assembly Department and the Test Station.
We are planning further study visits after the new year. We encourage all students interested in visiting our plant to contact the Career Office of the Silesian University of Technology.
